Another day filled with family, snuggles and loved ones! We also saw Harper's doctor, and my doctor again today, and it looks like we'll be going home tomorrow! Yay! Harper looked perfect! It was SO good to hear. We do have to go have her thyroid checked at her follow up appt. in a few days, just to be on the safe side with everything Avery had going on, but her levels after her first check after birth were pretty good. We do have to make an appt. to have a hip ultrasound when she's a month old, since she was breech. I guess it can sometimes cause hip problems because of the way she was bent, but Dr. McCue thought they looked pretty good. It isn't anything to be super concerned about. I am getting up and moving around better each day, but man, this c-section recovery is for the birds. Today I spent more time up around the room and sitting in the rocking chair, and out of the bed. It felt nice. I also tried to sneak a few pics of Harper myself. :) I can't wait to bring our girl home tomorrow...Yay!!!
Checking out the world
Avery got her own bracelet like Harper and Mama. Our sweet nurse Cindy gave it to her, and it has her name and says big sister on it!
Those cheeks!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!!
