The Bahn Family: Harper Ann

Well Day 2 of life and Harper is still just as sweet as ever!!! We had lots of visitors at the hospital today. I must say, I missed this part with Avery. We were rushed off to Children's, and never got to have the whole visitor in the hospital thing, so it's been nice. I hardly slept last night, as I was just so anxious for them to bring Harper into me after she got all cleaned up to nurse and snuggle the night away. It was a good second day. Besides the awful post-birth cramping that I do not remember with Avery. Oh my goodness. They said it gets worse with each birth, as your uterus has to shrink down that much more. Yikes. We made it though and they are getting less and less each day. Today we had Grammy and Papa Bahn come down to visit, and Aunt Jess and cousin Conner! Papa stopped over again too, but Nana didn't get to come until later, as she had to bring Great Grandma back. She couldn't go a day without some snuggles though, so she came late and it was so nice. Even us big girls like to see our mama's when we're not feeling well, and those cramps were kicking my butt! Uncle Scott, "Uncle" Kirk and the Slaviks (Nick, Amy, Orelia and Milo) came to see Harper too! Lots of fun having so many special people here, but we were all pretty tired out by the end and ready for a good night! Daddy got to stay at the hospital with us, and Avery went back for another sleep over at Nana and Papa's, which she thinks is the best thing ever. Big sister Avery got to hold Harper today too! That was my favorite part of the day!
